Why Use Pinterest for Business

If you aren’t already using Pinterest for business, let’s start with why it’s a good ideas to use Pinterest for your business. Back in November I talked about why you should use Pinterest for your business. In that post, I stated that there were over 322 million active users from a survey in 2019 and that number was obviously growing. In Q1 of 2021, the number of active users is 478+ million! The number of users on the site is continuing to rise each year and just goes to show you how big of a platform Pinterest is.

One of the other big reasons I believe Pinterest is huge for businesses is because it is a search engine. It isn’t just a social media platform like Facebook or Instagram where posts get lost in the feed. Because it is a search engine, it is run on SEO (search engine optimization) which is based on keywords. Users enter keywords into the search bar and go looking for what they want. This allows content to be found easier and stick around for a lot longer. Your content basically gains traction over time as more and more people find it. This is amazing for your business!
